Wikis

My experience with Wikis was an interesting one. I find them relatively easy to use though I am still getting confused on certain parts. I think I just need more practice. I created 2 wikis: one is for my 6th grade class, ( http://mvinciguerra585.pbworks.com/w/page/32150613/Getting-a-Babysitting-Job ) and the other was for this class assignment (

  1. Apparently some of my blog didn't save properly. So to continue.... the second wiki is http://webtoolsfortheclassroom.pbworks.com/w/page/32176537/Think-Quest
I am definitely having some trouble but hope to address my problems as I continue. I wish I knew about wikis a few months ago when I was planning my mom's benefit. It would have helped communicating a lot easier between me and my family. The babysitting wiki will be used for my students to write journal entries and comment on each others. Also students can see links to worksheets that we are using in the unit.
The NETS standards I used are Collaboration and Communication and Critical Thinking and Decision making.
